Hello ladies,
today’s look is a bit different. I wanted the lid color to be natural and use colorful shades on the crease instead. I tried to keep the colors soft so that it would be more easily wearable but I’m not sure I’ve managed to accomplish that. Still, I really like how this look turned out and I think I’ll try it again, just with different colors. What do you think of the look?
Products used:
– Senna Totally Transforming Eyeshadow Primer
– Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
– Sleek Storm Palette (pale gold)
– Sleek I-Divine Original Eyeshadow Palette (medium green)
– Sleek Curious eyeshadow palette (lilac + white)
– Pupa True Eyes eyeliner pencil in black
– Collistar Infinito mascara
– YSL Teint Singulier Sheer Powdercreme Veil Foundation
– Max Factor Erace Concealer
– Milani Minerals Blush in Luminous
– Senna Spot Lites Highlighting Pencil
– MAC Viva Glam VI SE
Directions:
– Apply an eyeshadow primer (I used Senna Totally Transforming Eyeshadow Primer) all over the lid to create a base for the shades to adhere to and last longer.
– Apply Fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy (if you don’t have, you can skip this step) on the lid to make the colors brighter.
– Apply a pale goldish cream shade (I used the one in the Sleek Storm palette) on the lid.
– Sweep a medium green shade (I used the one in the Sleek Original palette) on the crease.
– Apply a lilac shade (I used the one in the Sleek Curious palette) on the crease, between the green and the lid color. Blend well to soften any harsh lines. Then, sweep the same shade on the lower lashline.
– Highlight your browbone with a white highlighter (I used the one in the Sleek Curious palette).
– Line your upper lashline with a black pencil eyeliner (I used – Pupa True Eyes eyeliner pencil in black) and apply mascara.
– On your face, apply concealer (I used Max Factor Erace Concealer) to cover dark circles and any other imperfection you may have, and then your usual foundation (I used YSL Teint Singulier Sheer Powdercreme Veil Foundation in no.5).
– Sweep a pink blush with pink undertones (I used Milani Minerals Blush in Luminuous) on your cheeks and highlight the cheekbones, middle of the nose and chin with a subtle champagne highlighter (I used Senna Spot Lites Highlighting Pencil).
– Finish the look by applying a soft pink gloss (I used MAC Viva Glam VI SE)

I like it! I especially like the crease situation. What colors are you going to use when you do it again?

Trisha, thank you! It was nice for one to keep the lid neutral and add some drama to the crease. Mmm, I’m not sure yet.. I was think blue and hot pink would be a great combo..
I like how the lilac blends into the green shade. The liner really pulls the look together! If you used matte shades in your crease, it would definitely be more dramatic and your eyes would pop out a lot more. You should do more crease looks, they look lovely on you.<3

Dee, thank you! Maybe I could try using the shades from the new Sleek Circus palette. Most of them are matte and very bright so the look would turn out quite dramatic, I reckon.
Oh, I’ve just noticed that you have very beautiful eyes
green mmm

Marina, thank you!
Super pretty Gio, I like it! I especially like the purple under the lower lashline as a contrast to the teal in the crease. Way to go!
Pinch´s last [type] ..Lip of the Day- MAC Cute-Ster
Pinch, thank you! I wasn’t sure about the lilac at first as I find pinks and purples hard shades to pull off on the lower lashline, but I’m glad I used it anyway. I like how it looks this time.
I think the look is quite lovely
The teal color is very good for you! Next time, I think I would like to see you bring up that dark blue a tad bit more, to bring more definition to your beautiful eyes. I also like what you did with the lower lash line.
On a different note…..are you perhaps using a winter foundation? I noticed that it doesn’t really match your skin color. I can tell from your ears and at your hairline. Warm it up slightly and darken it a tad, and you should be spot on <3
Mika Chan´s last [type] ..Finally- an FOTD!
Mika Chan, thanks, I’m glad you like it. I think next time I will make the colors deeper and darker as I would love to have a more defined crease. This didn’t turn out as dramatic and dark as I had in mind but I still like it. I’ll try and add more drama to it next time.
About the foundation, the color doesn’t match exactly. I have very pale skin so foundations are usually too dark for me or have too yellow or too pink undertones. It’s not a big deal in real life as with the foundation I’m using at the moment you can barely see the difference in the flesh. It’s only in the pictures that you can see a difference. I will try your suggestion and see if it matches me perfectly that way, thank you.
Nice EOTD. You make me want to try out these ‘inverted’ colors look, ie: lighter on the lids and darker on the crease. They look awesome. I always do the reverse conventional way.;)

Vonvon, I usually do looks in the conventional ways too, then one day it hit me, “why not do it the other way round for a change?”. I wasn’t sure on the outcome, but you know me, always willing to give something a try makeup-wise and I really like the result. You should definitely try it too, I’d love to see you do a look like this.
Morning, dear! I’m still awake though I’m gonna celebrate my b-day party today. But I don’t want to miss to comment on your latest stunning eye make up! It’s such a great idea and I can’t wait to see another variation with the Circus palette. Just an idea: The green and blue shades harmonize in a perfect way.

Mylanqolia, happy belated birthday! I hope you had a fantastic day!
I’m glad you like my little experiment and that sounds like a great combination. I will try it soon, thanks.
