Name: Circus I-Divine Palette
Brand: Sleek
Size: 12×0.03oz/12×1.1
Price: £5.99

From Sleek’s website:
i-Divine is a highly pigmented, soft touch eye shadow palette that possesses 12 pearlescent and matte shades. The pearlescent shades possess a large amount of mica and reflect the light giving a shimmering effect to the eye.

What I liked:
– very pigmented
– beautiful selection of bright colors in both shimmer and matte finishes
– soft to the touch
– both shimmer and matte shades are easy to blend and work with
– longlasting
– the price

What I didn’t like:
– 2 shades lack pigmentation
– the red packaging looks cheap to me

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the launch of the new Sleek Circus eyeshadow palette for a few months now so the day it was finally out, I just had to order it. I couldn’t wait a day longer and when it arrived less than a week later, I was completely blown away. The color selection is very interesting, with 12 bright and colorful shades both in matte and shimmer finishes that are perfect to create very summery looks.

Like always, the shades are soft to the touch, easy to blend and 10 of them have excellent color payoff. The only exceptions are the matte white and matte lilac. I wasn’t bothered about the white since most whites are sheer as they are used as highlighters, but I was disappointed about the lack of pigmentation of the lilac. I had to apply 5 or 6 swipes for it to show properly, so I’d say it’s workable if you have patience.

It’s just a shame cos the color looks so beautiful in the pan, but I still think this is an amazing palette considering that most of the shades are highly pigmented and the mattes are just so easy to work with. For me, the standouts in this palette are that beautiful dark blue (it’s one of the most stunning shades I have ever seen, the swatch doesn’t do it justice), the matte red, the lime green and purple. But I love all the others as well.

Overall, this is one of my fave Sleek palettes. These shades are totally up my alley, and if like me, you love brights too, then you just have to get this as well. And if you don’t wear such colorful shades often, I think you should check Circus out anyway as it offers a great opportunity to stock up on lots of bright shades at a very affordable price. If you’re interested, buy it now as the palette is LE and it’s already flying off the shelves.

As for the packaging, after Bohemian, Circus also strays away from the sleek black case: this time it is red and personally, I don’t like it. While I appreciate the red color means it’s easier to find this palette among the others in my stash and it’s definitely an eye-catching shade, I think it looks cheap and I wish Sleek found another way to differentiate them, like reproducing on the case the funky design of the cardboard box.

Summary
Overall, I love the new Sleek Circus palette. It contains 12 bright shimmery and matte shades that are soft to the touch. Two of the shades lack pigmentation but the other 10 have excellent color payoff, are easy to work with (even the mattes) and are long-lasting. I’m not too fond of the red packaging, but it’s definitely eye-catching.

Rating: 4.5/5

Glyonne, it’s stunning, isn’t it? I love how colorful and bright the shades are. I’m not too keen on the red case but the cardboard box is beautiful. :)

Even though the packaging looks kind of cheap, I still want this. I’ve never used Sleek, you’re always saying good things. Now I want to try it. For instance, that orange color is pretty amazing. And the price is good.

Trisha, I just can’t help raving about Sleek. It feels so good when you find a palette with such pigmented, soft-textured shadows that’s so inexpensive. Even the matte shades, whichh most of the time are chalky or lack pigmentation, have great payoff and are easy to work with. You should try it, if you can. You won’t regret it. :)

The colors on pan looks a bit cheap and bad quality but when you swatched it out, my mouth was “:O” sooo pretty! Thanks for doing the swatches

Nikki, you’re welcome. Yes, the packaging looks very cheap and doesn’t do the colors any favours at all, but they’re actually very beautiful, fun and pigmented. :)

I didn’t even read the post title and the word Circus was the first on my mind. :) This palette is so colorful! Not my taste really, cause I don’t wear so bright shades but I think girls that would like to try different shades would love this one. :)

Tavia, I thought this palette wouldn’t be your thing. I know you prefer to wear pinks and more natural shades. But I think this is perfect for those that love brights or like to wear bolder shades every now and then. This way they can have a lot of them at a cheap price. :)

I don’t care much for the red packaging, but I love those colors! I love the deep purple, lime green and the metallic blue as well! Thank you for the swatches Gio!

Citrine, can’t you order it online? That’s what I did. You have to pay for p&p but it’s worth it. The colors are beautiful and texture soft and pigmented. :)
