I thought about writing a post about Bobbi Brown Denim & Rose collection for fall, but there are already lots of posts about it on the net, so instead I’m just gonna tell you about the two products I’m lemming from this collection. As you know, I’m into bright and colorful shades so it doesn’t happen often that I’m lemming something from Bobbi Brown, despite her products being of great quality usually.
So I was plesantly surprised to find out that some of the products in her new collection are available in a beautiful blue shade. The two products I’m lemming are the Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Denim Ink ($21), a long-lasting and water-resistant gel eyeliner that will stay put until you decide to take it off, and the Sparkle Eye Shadow in Denim ($24). I’ve always been a fan of sparkly eyeshadows but never found a color in the BB range that really appealed to me. This one does.
It is said to have a lightweight formula that lights up the eyes thanks to a combination of shimmering pearls and fine glitter that glides on easily and won’t crease. For both shades, Bobbi Brown took inspiration from denim cos, in her own words, “Everyone looks great in jeans and anyone can pull off a dark denim eye”. Just pair it with soft rose shades for lips and cheeks to make it wearable.
