Are you looking for a budget-friendly bronzer to give your skin a sunkissed glow during the summer season (and the rest of the year)? Cute UK brand Soap & Glory makes a good one called Solar Powder (£12.00) that features two shades to mix and match to get beautiful and luminous skin. And, it is also said to work very well for pale-skinned beauties like me! I always have a hard time finding a bronzer that’s not too dark, too orange o too muddy-looking so I can’t wait to get my hands on this one. Like all Soap & Glory products, it comes in a vintage-style packaging that is just too cute. It also contains a big mirror and a brush for easier application.

Bliss Poetic Wax Kit and Ingrown Eliminating Pads

Now that’s summer here, the weather’s hotter and we’re showing more flesh, it’s important that our skin is smooth and free of unattractive unwanted hair. Thankfully, Bliss has released some products to make removing hair quick and easy and eliminate any ingrown hair you could get while shaving.

The old Poetic Waxing Kit (£35.00) has been improved and now features a new microwaveable (no need to use the stove anymore, yay!) cup filled with 150g of bliss poetic wax, which melts at low temperature so post-waxing redness is reduced, that can get rid of hair 1mm short so you don’t have to wait too long between a waxing session and another.

The kit also contains 1oz bottle of Bliss Poetic Super Skin Cleanser, 1oz bottle of Bliss Poetic pre- and post-waxing oil, 3 large spatulas, 3 small spatulas, complete waxing instructions and free sample of an
ingrown eliminating pad! I admit I’m not into waxing (although the kit is tempting me!), but if you are, this would be a very handy kit for you as it contains everything you could possibly need.

Already mentioned in the kit above, the other Bliss product I’m lemming at the moment is the Ingrown Hair Eliminating Pads ($26.00). An handy product to have at hand after waxing or shaving (although you should use it after 12 hours or it could irritate freshly-shaven or waxed skin), it contains Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acids, two exfoliants that remove the upper layers of the skin to get rid of ingrown hair and blemishes that can occur afterwards. It is also useful for men to prevent those ugly “bear bumps” that can appear after shaving.
