1. What is your favourite city in the world?
London! I’ve been there 4 times and can’t wait to get back. I’m one of those people that always feels like I never fit in, but when I’m in London I feel like I’m at home, like I belong. There’s just something magical about the city. The parks and buildings are beautiful, the atmosphere’s electric and it’s such a lovely city with always something new to do. Not to mention a makeup heaven for any beauty fanatic.
2. Do you like summer makeup collections?
Mmmm yes and no. Summer collections are full of bronzing products that I don’t like using as I really like being pale. It rocks, ya know? And they also feature lots of neutral colors that just ain’t me. But they almost all have a few bright, bold and colorful shades that I really like.
3. What magazines are you reading right now?
These days I only read Vanity Fair. 
4. Do you prefer summer or winter?
Definitely summer. I hate cold weather!
5. Vampires are really popular now. What do you think of them?
They’re fascinating but scary! Although lately they have really started to irritate me!

1) Hmm….simple question, yet difficult to answer, for me. I like so many cities… if I have to pick one, then it would be Vienna!
2) It depends on which brand…overall, I like those summer collections with brightly-colored makeup.
3) Quite a few….People, Cosmopolitan US version, Malaysian beauty mags – Female, Her world, Marie claire, CLEO, Malaysian Women’s weekly.
4) Both. Summer so that i can visit the beaches on the Greek islands and Winter, so that I can play with snow.

Vonvon, I went to Vienna once but I only spent the night and morning there so didn’t get to see much. Would love to go again properly this time, it seemed like a great city.
I love those collections with the bright and colorful shades too. But some brands focus more on bronzing and nude shades in the summer and I’m not into all that.
I’ve been in Wien one too many times. The center is nice, I like the crowd and everything but what I don’t like is that everyone talks a different language there. You hear people talking in different languages more than you hear them talk in German. I also see lots of strange young people, dressed very weird, even in center of city (MQ, maybe you know it) they hang out in such a strange way (maybe only for me). I guess I’m just not use to seeing so many contrasts. I can really say that from all the cities that I’ve been to, Wien has the most strange people.
Tavia, I experienced that in London about the languages. I hear most people talk Italian, Japanese and other languages than English. It’s a shame I only had a morning to spend in Wien, I would have loved to see more of the city and people.

I have to agree with you on that so many contrasts in Wien. But I guess growing up in Malaysia has gotten me very used to different culture and languages.
It’s the 1st European city I visited as a kid and I guess it left quite a bit of an impression on me, and may be that’s why I like it a lot. I like Paris too.

Oh I hate tan lines too. Not that I tan, but in the summer and it’s always sunny it’s hard not get a bit darker even if you wear sunscreen.

I’d have to see every city in the world to answer this one properly, lol! Out of all of the cities I’ve been to, I really love San Francisco and Berkley, CA. Actually, I love the whole Bay Area in general. There’s such a great vibe there.

Yes! I love the return of bronze, golds, and corals! I’m really loving the teals and turquoises this season, too.

Well, I’m a Twilight and True Blood fan girl, but I think there’s so much vampire stuff out now that it’s annoying. It seems like everyone just wants to cash in on the craze.
Tammy, I bet the Bay Area is fab! California and New York are two places that I’d love to see but the flights are so expensive. Maybe one day..
And I agree about vampires. Some of the shows and books about them are really good, but there are too many right now that it’s starting to get really boring.
1. Munich (Germany) is my favorite city so far. I traveled quite a lot and I haven’t chanced my opinion so far, but maybe I will change my mind after this summer. I’m planing new vacations in some new places. I was thinking about visiting London too, but everyone that’s been there says only bad things about the weather. I can’t stand a city that has not sun to offer. One of my friends said that for the 3 months that he’s been living in London he only saw sun 1 time. I think it’s strange.

2. I agree with you. I don’t like bronzers, I don’t even use bronzing powders, blushes and all that kind of makeup products, so I’m not especially attracted to summer collections. I’m just looking for nice shades when it comes to lip gloss and eyeshadow.

4. I love summer, although +40 degrees Celsius is even too hot for me but I also like winter + snow because I can hide under those warm clothes and if I eat a chocolate from time to time it won’t be so noticeable like it will when I wear summer clothes.
5. Vampires… well I live in Romania, and you know how many movies and books have been based on Transilvania’s region, so I think it’s already old story for me, since I heard stories about vampires since I was a child. I practically grew up along with their stories. I would like to meet one, but I hate pale skin.
Tavia, I’m afaid I have to agree about the weather in London. For me, that’s the only bad thing about the city. I’ve been there a few times and luckily it never rained much, but it was very often cloudy, dark and gloomy. Also, the weather changes a lot during the day. Like, you wake up in the morning and the sun’s shining but after a couple of hours it starts to rain for a while, then there’s the sun again and then it’s cloudy.. It’s weird if you’re not used to it. But if you go, go in the summer. I went during the first half of August once and it was sunny most of the time. But the rest of the year, the sun doesn’t come out much.
1) Honolulu – because that’s where I grew up and where I always want to visit.
2) I love summer, and everything that has to do with summer. I don’t really change my makeup that much for summer, though – I just pile on extra sunscreen.
3) I subscribe to about 15 magazines right now because I’m addicted to them. My favorites are Allure, New Beauty, Vogue, Bazaar, Money, Entrepreneur, etc.
4) Summer, although it was 108 degrees today (here in Vegas) so it’s a little too hot.
5) I have no interest in vampires.

I adore summer too and I don’t mind the hot weather too much. Like you, I don’t really change my makeup or beauty routine at all, but yep, more sunscreen is a must
