Product Review: Wet n Wild Kabuki Powder Brush

Name: Kabuki Powder Brush
Brand: Wet n Wild
Price: €3,29

From Wet n Wild’s website:
Must-have accessory excellent for all-over application. Luxuriously soft brush provides light-to-full coverage.

What I liked:
– the price

What I didn’t like:
– bristles aren’t soft and scratch skin
– application is uneven
– sheds
– doesn’t reshape well after washing

The. Worst. Kabuki. Brush. Ever.

You probably figured out my feelings about this brush, so I’ll keep the review short and sour. I didn’t have high expectations considering the cheap price, but this brush sucks completely. The bristles are harsh and they hurt my skin. The brush doesn’t blend well and application is uneven and patchy. And like that wasn’t enough, the brush sheds and doesn’t get back into its original shape once washed. In a nutshell, this brush is useless and a total waste of, thank goodness not too much, money.

Overall, I hate Wet n Wild Kabuki Powder Brush. The bristles aren’t soft at all, doesn’t apply mineral makeup well, it sheds and doesn’t reshape well after washing. Stay away!

Anastacia, that’s how it looked when I first took it out of the box. I knew then the brush would be bad, but I didn’t know it would be this bad! It’s completely useless. :(

Dao, I’m glad you had the chance to feel it first so that you didn’t waste your money. Here, it comes in a box so I couldn’t do that.I usually never buy brushes without touching the bristles first to see how soft they are but considering the price, I thought I could make an exception. I wish I hadn’t. And I agree, how could they make such a horrible brush and sell it, claiming it is luxuriously soft is a mystery to me.

Connie, that’s the first thing I thought when I took it out of the box. Too bad there weren’t testers or anything at the shop or I would have never bought it. :(

OMG! The brush is a mess. Look at the hair! I’m very sorry that you bought it. But maybe it can help other ladies not to do a mistake though it’s a ceahp loss. But hey, one can buy something better for 3,29 €. :-) Have you seen the Make Up Academy stuff wich is available at Superdrugs? Gosh, this is so cheap. I’d wish there were a cruelty free brand in Germany which seel items for 1 €… :-)

Mylanqolia, I hope so. If my wasting money (even if it weren’t that much) helps someone else not to do the same, then it was worthy. I guess some people may be tempted to try it for the price, but you’re right, there are lots of better things you can buy instead and that you’ll enjoy. Yep, I saw that brand and how I wish it were available here too. I saw it got mixed reviews but there are still a few items I’d love to try it. Superdrug really needs to start shopping worldwide! And people in the UK are so lucky, they have lots of nice and inexpensive brands like Barry M, Sleek, Boots and now even products sold at £1. I can’t imagine that ever happening here *sighs*
