When I first saw the promo pix for Kiko Electric Town collection I couldn’t help but fall in love with the makeup the model’s wearing. The colors are so bold and bright and so me! The collection itself doesn’t disappoint either. It features a mix of colorful and natural shades so that anyone is bound to find something that appeals to them.

I usually tend to skip Kiko limited edition collections cos the prices are a bit higher than those in the permanent line but this time I’m hooked. I already have my eye on the Makeup Fixer (been looking for a decent cheap one for ages), the eye palette in Harajuku Aquamarine (the colors look so pretty and bright) and I’d love to give the blush a try too. Do you see anything below that’s appealing to you?

The eyeliner/kohl definitely sounds interesting. I was about to say that it has a nice range of colours but they’re all some form of /blue/green/black…when they start making reds and golds, then we’ll see about ‘nice range of colours’ XD

But the product itself sounds good, nevertheless.

Simone, I agree with you that the color range of this particular eyeliner is limited, but I’m still curious to try it anyway, it sounds interesting. I’m afraid Kiko doesn’t make red eyeliners (they totally should do) but they have other eyeliner pencils in gold. I have a gold liner from them and the color is lovely, but sheer. The other eyeliners I have from them are quite pigmented though.

I would love to try Omotesando Beige – looks fabulous as a smokey eye. I have such a hard time with greys, so that’s a good compromise. :)

Thanks for the review!

Amy, that’s a pretty palette and I think it would create a beautiful and wearable smokey eye too. :)

Honestly I never heard of this brand but I like the blushes. The packaging looks cool too. :)

Tavia, Kiko is an Italian drugstore brand and for the price, the products are pretty good. The blushes look pretty, don’t they?
