What haircut have you always wanted?
Beautiful with Brains says: I’ve always wanted the famous Rachel haircut that Jennifer Aniston wore during the first seasons of Friends. It looked so good on her. I didn’t get that haircut because at the time it was so popular everyone wore it and I didn’t wanna look like anyone else. I think you should wear was suits you, not what’s trendy. And that’s another reason why I never wore my hair like that. I don’t think it’ll look good on me.

I don’t usually follow trend, in fact, I never did, and perhaps, never will do. I know….some people would say, never say ‘never’. But I guess when it comes to my hair, I wold just wear it the way I feel comfortable as it is right now. Sometimes, I wouldn’t mind curling them and/or wearing them in big waves….give a sophisticated look.
The same goes for clothing, for me (wear what’s comfortable, what I like and what my Hubby likes)….that’s a bit off topic.

I wanted the a-line bob, but my hair’s curly, so I would have to thin out my ends and blow it straight so the ends won’t poof out, lol. I quit on it because Rihanna came out with the same cut and she made popular, so now I’m currently looking for another short cut (style).
I remember seeing the Rachel hair around! Even teens had it, ha!

Vonvon, I completely agree with you. People should wear what suits them and what they feel comfortable in, not following the trends become someone said so. Trends can’t suit anyone and some people can look quite bad when trying to keep up with them.
I like the way you’re wearing your hair at the moment, it looks really good on you. I would love curls or big waves too but sadly my thin, straight hair can’t hold them for long.
Dee, that’s so bad of Rihanna, how dare she steal your cut? lol. But I know what you mean, that’s why I didn’t get the Rachel cut. When something gets popular, everyone wears it and they all look the same.
Thanks, gio!
What I’d do with my curls to make them stay so longer is mousse before curling, then lots of hair spray. I know it’s not too good for the hair and also the environment, but it’s just once in a while

When I have long hair I always want to get short cut, but when I have short cut I can’t wait until my hair long lol:

Vonvon, I’ve tried everything so far, but nothing worked.
Maybe I was just crappy products lol. I’ll give that a try and see how it goes, thanks for sharing. I wouldn’t do that every day either, but I agree with you that there’s nothing wrong in doing it every now and then. It’s actually fun and looks beautiful.
Anastacia, isn’t that always the way lol? I so know what you mean. My hair is starting to get long and I can’t wait to cut it but when I do, I know I’ll regret it and want longer hair again
Oh, this is cute, hon! I always wanted big hair like Sophia Loren (I loved her films du to my mom) but the reality is that I’ve fine hair that don’t have volume. Thanks to Sinead O’Connor, I had the guts to shave them because I couldn’t stand the sad reality anymore. To be honest, I can’t imagine myself with long hair anymore. My hair is short since ages and I feel comfy with it.

Mylanqolia, sounds like we have the same type of hair. Mine is fine and, doesn’t matter what I do, it doesn’t have volume. I wish I had big, full hair too but I guess you can’t change what you’re born with it.
Good for you to have the guts to shave your hair. I wish I was brave as you. Maybe one day, when it starts irritating me too much.
When I had short hair, I wanted the Victoria Beckham bob cut. Unfortunately, my hair is too flat for that but my mom looks wonderful with it.

Dao, I love that cut! It’s one of my faves. That’s too bad it won’t suit you but I’m glad your mum can rock it. I’m sure she looks beautiful.
Oh, you’re also punished by your genes. Let’s form a club!
No, jk. Honestly, the best thing is to ask your hairdresser if there’s a short hairdo that works for you. Otherwise you’re disappointed by your decision. And don’t do anything you’ll regret.
By the way, I ahve to go to my heairdresser this weekend. I look like a savage now.

Mylanqolia, punished is really the right word lol. I once went to my hairdresser (I’ve been going to her salon since I was a kid and she’s really good and expensive as well) and told her to do whatever she wanted with my hair. She cut my hair (chin lenght, the shortest my hair has ever been) in a bob and gave me bangs. Everyone kept telling me how good it was and that it really suited my face shape, but I couldn’t wait for my hair to grow back cos I didn’t like it all. I think I was just not used to see my hair that short. Of course, not that my hair is long, I can’t wait to cut it short. lol.
