Have you always wanted to design your own nail polish? Now Illamasqua is giving you the chance to do just that. Help them to create a new hot nail polish by entering their Global Nail Varnish Competition – Fall 2010.
All you have to do is submit, in 50 words or less, a description of your dream color and what inspired it, together with a photo or swatch to illustrate your idea to Illamasqua. You can enter in three ways:

Anyone can enter as the competition is open worldwide, but only one entry per person, please. You have until March 14th, 2010 to submit your entries. The winners will be selected on 5th May by a prestigious beauty panel including Illamasqua Artistic Director and Legendary Make-up Artist Alex Box, Internationally acclaimed Nail Artist Sophy Robson and the Youtube sensations Pixiwoo!
The winning shade will be sold as an exclusive on Illamasqua.com, and through UK-based Selfridges department stores and Selfridges.com, beginning in October of 2010. But of course the winner will get a bottle before anyone else!

Have you taken part in it? I did but I don’t think that I win. I’m not that familiar with nail polishes, to be honest. *shame*

Mylanqolia, I haven’t yet. I’m still brainstorming ideas but I’m not very creative when it comes to nail polish. It’s one of my least fave products mainly because I haven’t mastered the art of applying it properly. I always make a huge mess! But good luck to you! Don’t put yourself down, I’m sure your idea is fab!
