Do you prefer single eyeshadows or palettes?
Beautiful With Brains says: definitely palettes. I think they are better value for money, more travel friendly and the colors are already coordinated so I don’t have to think too much about what combo to wear.

I like single better, since I have no clue how to use a palette. (Most of the time I just use the dark shade as eyeliner or light shade as a wash…)

Mylanqolia, I like single shadows as well, but I usually buy those if they are really cheap or the color is unique. Otherwise, I go for palettes as you usually get more shades for a cheaper price.
Lol, I’m a makeup addict too and I love it. It’s bad but feels so good.
I prefer eye shadows in either single or palette form. It does not really matter to me when I’m at home but if I travel, I would choose the palette.

Citrine, that’s a good way to use them.
I usually use 4 or 5 eyeshadows in each look so palettes are better for me cos the colors are already coordinated. But usually, I use the lightest shades on the browbone to highlight, the medium ones on the lid and the darkest ones on the crease to give some definition to the eye.
Dao, I love both types too but I prefer palettes for the price. Some single eyeshadows are so cheap, I don’t have a problem buying a few, but some like MAC or Benefit can be quite expensive and I feel that I’m getting more bang for my buck if I buy a palette instead. But for travelling, palettes are definitely better, I agree.

I prefer palettes. They are convenient and I get to play with more colours at one go
I hardly ever buy singles now unless it’s a shade I must have.

I used to prefer singles because they seemed better quality than palettes. Now I prefer palettes because everything is there and the colors are there to match each other. I don’t have to think too much… lol~ :X

Palettes! better for storage and easy to take you when travelling! I also like the fact that you can mix and match the colours that are there.
Anastacia, that’s handy! I love homemade palettes. That way, you’re sure that you’re gonna use all the colors and storage takes less space too
Lyn, I’m with you there. Palettes are very handy and I feel better buying those knowing that I’m gonna get several colors than spending money for just one shade. But if a single eyeshadow is cheap or the shade something not easily dupable I’ll get it anyway.

When I travel I take with mine mono eyeshadows max 3 
. I don’t buy palettes because I don’t like all the eyeshdows from one palette, usually I like 75% of the eyeshadows in one palette (this is the best case)

Mika chan, I swear palettes are addicting. Once you start to collect them you can’t stop. At least that’s what happened to me lol. But it’s good to have both palettes and singles. If the shades are beautiful and the quality good, it doesn’t matter if they come in single pots or palettes.
Ahleessa, that’s what I love about palettes too. If I don’t know what look to wear, I just get a palette and the problem’s solved since the colors are already coordinated
Vanessa H, lol. Single eyeshadows are very good too. I just can’t get myself to buy them if they are expensive lol.
Tavia, I don’t think it’s worth buying a palette then. If a palette contains about 10/12 eyeshadows I don’t care if I’m not gonna use one or two of the colors, but the smaller ones aren’t worth getting if you’re not gonna use all the shades.

That palette’s beautiful, isn’t it? I like it that it’s neutral but still has a pop of color.
Andreia, creating your own palette is so much fun! You can fill them up with only those colors you like and they’re so handy for travelling.
