Name: Blush Powder
Brand: Senna
Size: 0.12oz/3.4g
Price: $18.50

From Senna’s website:
Add natural daytime definition or all out glamour. Long lasting, smooth blending blushes are in three different finishes for effect you want. Sheer Matte gives a velvety opaque look. Sheer Glow adds radiance. Sheer Sparkling has micro pigments that reflect light.

What I liked:
- beautiful shades
- matte finish
- easy to blend
- applies sheer

What I didn’t like:
- doesn’t last all day
- the ingredients
- the price

Senna Blush Powder is available in a wide range of shades with three different finishes: matte, glow and sparkling. The one I have is called Dollface and is a warm matte pink that provides just a hint of color with an opaque, but not dull, effect on the cheeks.

The blush has a silky soft texture that applies easily and blends like a dream. As you can see in the swatch above, the blush is very sheer, which is perfect for pale-skinned girls like me that won’t have to be too careful when applying this for fear of overdoing it.

Those with darker skintones, though, may not like the blush that much because they’ll need to layer quite a lot of product to get it show on their cheeks and considering the blush is not cheap, they may prefer to get something more pigmented instead.

As for the staying power, I’d say that’s ok. Sadly, it doesn’t last all day on me, but I only needed to retouch a couple of times, which isn’t too bad since most blushes last less on me.

Personally, I wouldn’t purchase more shades because one of the preservatives used in this blush is Imidazolidinyl Urea, which works by releasing formaldehyde. Although deemed safe by the FDA in small concentrations, I prefer to avoid products with formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. This is a personal choice though. If you’re comfortable using products with this ingredient and like sheer blushes, then you may like this one too.

Summary:
Senna Blush Powder is a sheer and matte blush with a decent staying power. However, it is pricey and some people may not like that it contains a formaldehyde-releasing preservative.

Rating: 3/5

Indeed is a beautiful color, but for blushing I prefer sometimes a lil bit of shine :) . Too bad it doesn’t last to much time

Tavia, I prefer shimmering or glowy blushes too. Some of these blushes have that finish, but I just happened to get a matte one. It’s still pretty though.
