Looks: Orange and Red

Hello ladies,

I hope you are all doing well today. Can you believe we are in December already? How time flies! The month here has started with nice weather. The sun is shining and it’s quite warm for this time of the year. :)

For today’s look I used red, orange and green and I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. The color combo reminds me of that time of the year when summer turns into autumn and I think it is very appropriate for the upcoming Christmas holidays too. Here’s the pix, hope you like the look:

Products used:
– Urban Decay Primer Potion
– Bottega Verde eyeshadow palette (orange and yellow)
– Sleek Chaos palette (red)
– Barry M Duzzle Dust #65 green iridescent
– Sleek Original palette (green)
– Helena Rubinstein Glorious mascara

Directions:
– Apply Urban Decay Primer Potion all over lid as a base.
– With E.L.F. eyeshadow brush, apply an orange shade (I used the one in the Bottega Verde Jewel Box palette)  on the lid.
– Swipe a reddish color (I used the matte one in the Sleek Chaos palette) on the crease and a pale yellow (I used the one in the Bottega Verde Jewel Box palette) on the browbone.
-Apply a thin line of shimmery white eyeshadow (I used Barry M Duzzle Dust #65 green iridescent) just under the brow.
– Using MAC 219 pencil brush, swipe a green shade (I used the one in the Sleek original palette) on the lower lashline.
– Finish off with mascara.

You already know how much I adore orange and reds on you Gio! I really like that shot of green on your lower lashline. Its a nice touch and really brightens the look up.

Oh, I’ve been meaning to ask, can you do more looks with your sleek palettes? I’ve been eyeing those babies forever but shame that the website is super slow on the online shop. I don’t know where to order, lol.

Aww, thanks Dee, you’re always so nice ;)

Of course I can. I use them almost on a daily basis, the colors are beautiful and so pigmented! I hope their ecommerce site will be launched soon, we’ve all been waiting for too long now.

I found a Dutch site that sells some of the Sleek palettes: http://www.alicejohavesentials.nl They state on the website (I used google translator lol) that they ship internationally but you may wanna contact them and ask before purchasing. I’ve bought a LE palette there and I can’t wait to get it. I’ve only ordered it last Friday so it should arrive sometime this week. The owner is very helpful though and speaks English very well.

There’s another website that sells them (http://www.shadesbeauty.moonfruit.com), but I have never ordered from them yet so I don’t know how their service is.

Mylanqolia, I’m glad you like it. The red is one of my favourite colors on that palette. It’s pigmented and bright but very wearable. Can’t wait to see what you’re gonna do with it. ;)
