What it is
Vitamin B2, also knows as Riboflavin, is a micronutrient required for several cellular processes like metabolism of fats and proteins, cell respiration and growth. Vitamin B2 can be found in leafy green vegetables, legumes, cheese, milk, mushrooms and liver.

What it does
When applied topically, Vitamin B2 is said to treat blemishes related to rosacea. It is also supposed to help heal wounds and burns. However, there aren’t any scientific studies supporting these claims.
Riboflavin is bright and deep yellow in color and for this reason, it can be used as a coloring agent in cosmetic products.

Side effects
Vitamin B2 can be photosensitizing.
