Hello ladies,
here is a look that I wore a couple of days ago. I wanted to do something bright but girly so I decided to use two of my favourite colors: purple and pink. I really like how the look came out, it’s romantic, colorful and very wearable too. Here are the pix:

Products used:
- Senna Totally Transforming Eyeshadow Primer
- Sephora eyeshadow in Aspen Summit
- Barry M Dazzle Dust #86 Pink Shimmer
- Nars eyeshadow duo in Blade Runner (dark, copperish red)
- Sleek Original palette (purple)
- Get in line palette (pale beige)
- Pupa black pencil eyeliner
- L’Oreal mascara
Directions:
- Apply an eyeshadow primer (I used Senna Totally Transforming Eyeshadow Primer) all over lid to create a sticky base so that the pigments will adhere better to it.
- Apply a white shade (I used Sephora eyeshadow in White Aspen) on the inner corner and bring it up towards the browbone. With MAC 219 pencil brush, apply it on the inner lower lashline too.
- Apply a bright pink shade (I used Barry M Dazzle Dust #86 Pink Shimmer) on the crease. With MAC 219 pencil brush, sweep some on the middle lower lashline and blend where it meets with the white shade.
- Apply a dark copper shade (I used the one in Nars eyeshadow duo Blade Runner) on the outer corner and crease.
- Apply a violet shade on the crease to darken it. With MAC 219 pencil brush, apply it on the outer lower lashline and blend where it meets with the pink shade.
- Swipe a pale beige shade (I used the one in Get in Line palette) on the browbone to highlight.
- Line your upper lid and waterline with a black pencil liner.
- Finish off with mascara.

This is so lovely! I love this eye combination very much. The bright pink color is the one you sent me, right? I haven’t used it yet but after seeing this, I will give it a try. Also, I love the Art Deco eye primer you sent very much, it works better than my paint pots

Jenn, thank you, I think this is very girly and romantic too
Mimi, thanks, I’m glad you like it
Dao, thank you. Yes, that’s the one I sent you. It’s one of my favourite pinks, it’s bright but can also be applied sheer, it’s a very versatile shade imo. You should definitely try it, I’m sure you’ll love it too.
I’m glad you love the primer as well. That’s one of Art Deco’s best products imo, it works just as well as UDPP for me. And I’m glad it works so well for you too.
Very lovely. You can probably pull off any color. Pink makes me look like I have a punched eye.

Jnie, thanks. That’s too bad, pink and purples can both do that sometimes. It’s a shame cos they are such beautiful colors.
Hi Gio! I’m happy to see you’ve done a makeup using my favorite colors combination
It look’s beautiful

Ahleessa, thanks very much hun, you’re so sweet
Vonvon, I’m glad you like this combo too, it’s very pretty and feminine. And I love greens and teals too, they are such beautiful colors and I can’t wait to see some of your looks with them
Hi gio,
I tried on MAC Mineralize eyeshadow duo in Blue Sorcery, combined with Blue Flame from Style Black collection. It’s in my blog, but I am not sure if I can post the link here.
Anyways, glad to know that we share some common interests, not only in makeup, but also our choice of colors.

Vonvon, that’s ok, of course you can post links to your blog
I remember that FOTD anyway, I thought it was really nice to see you wearing a more colorful look than usual, you looked gorgeous!
I was sure I had posted a comment to the post, did you get it? I had problems with some of my comments not going through with blogger before, it’s very frustrating. But I’d love to see more colorful looks from you in the future, blues really suit you
I agree, it’s nice to share the same tastes
Thanks, gio. But I didn’t get your comment on that post. I re-checked. But really appreciate your effort in trying to post comments and my gratitude for your encouragement.

Vonvon, you’re welcome. I’m sorry you didn’t get my comment, next time I’ll recheck. But I thought you might have been busy and didn’t have time to approve it and I’ve must’ve forgot to recheck after a few days. I’ll be more careful and leave another message anyway next time, just to be sure
It’s very annoying when comments disappear, esp since I don’t why. Sometimes I can leave them ok, others they don’t go through. Sorry for the inconvenience and you’re welcome. I mean every word
And I love reading your blog, keep up the good work
