I love the shade and finish of this lippie and if the Clinique one offers that and moisturizes as well then I'm sure I'll love it. I'm not a fan of non-moisturizing lipsticks either. I always use lip balm underneath anyway, but even that way they don't always feel very comfortable on the lips. Although this lippie is just average I really love the mascaras (you can't go wrong with them!) and the baked blush, it's lovely. The eyeshadows are pretty good too.
