Carrie, unfortunately no MAC foundation matches me, they are all too dark for my pale skin.

What shade are you in mac?
I'm about an NC20, will this color be too dark on me?

Sarah, yes, if the foundation matches your skin color, then you can use it on your legs without any problems.

I'm thinking about trying this, but I only want to use it for my legs since I have some scars from mosquito bites. Instead of using it on the face, would I also be able to use it on my legs with the use of the setting powder?

Rebecca, I agree with you completely! 99% of the foundations I tried were too dark for my skin and made me look orange! There are lots of people with pale skin and it's very unfair that companies don't release shades that would match their skintone!

So far the only foundations I tried that weren't too dark were the Dainty Doll one (but I think that's out of stock at the moment :( ) and Lumiere mineral foundation. They have lots of shades to choose from and even very pale-skinned girls would be able to find a good match. The Body Shop mineral foundation was good too. Too dark for me but at least it didn't make me look orange.

I think mineral foundations are best for pale skin as they are usually available in lots more shades than traditional ones so it's easier to find a nice match.

Tavia, if you're looking for a foundation with excellent coverage this is it. It covers my redness very well and I can barely see my pimples when I'm using this (and that is without using concealer!).

I'm not sure I'd recommend it to people with oily skin though as it doesn't control oil production and your face will probably be shiny again after a while. And the staying power isn't too good either. But using a mattifier primer would probably solve the problem.

Maybe you could ask for a sample so you can see how it performs on you before purchasing the full size tube?

Hi Mika, I'm sorry their skincare products make you break out, I've always had good experiences with them. The Flexilift teint foundation sounds really nice but it's too bad it doesn't last long.

Oh my god, I *hate* it when perfectly good foundations are too dark for me, even in the lightest shade. When will foundation companies learn that not everybody's skin has an orangey tint? *Sigh*
Any recommendations for a brand that has non-orangey fair shades?
