Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a nice weekend.
During the past couple of days I rocked some pretty bold and colorful makeup looks, including the one I’m going to show you today. It was created using two of my fave colors, pink and blue, and I’m very pleased with the result.
I usually never wear the same look twice as I get bored easily but I can see myself doing this again in the future, esp on days when I’m down. Bright makeup always makes me feel better and this look is very colorful and vivid, but still wearable. Hope you like it.

Products used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- Makeup Masala eyeshadow in Agni
- Sleek Curious palette (white)
- Sleek Original palette (light blue and dark blue)
- L’Oreal Telescopic Explosion mascara
Directions:
- Apply Urban Decay Primer Potion all over lid as a base.
- Using E.L.F. eyeshadow brush, apply a bright pink shade (I used Makeup Masala mineral eyeshadow in Agni) on the inner lid, a white shade (I used the one in Sleek Curious palette) on the middle lid and a bright light blue shade (I used the one in Sleek Original palette) on the outer lid. Blend.
- Swipe the same bright light blue shade on the crease and darken it with a darker blue (I used the one in the Sleek Original palette). Be careful, not to bring the color up too high.
- Apply the white shade on the browbone to highlight.
- Using MAC 219 pencil brush, swipe the pink shade on the inner lower lashline, the white shade on the middle lower lashline and the light blue shade on the outer lower lashline. Blend.
- Finish off with mascara.

Another of your gorgeous looks. The idea is very helpful to me, cause I never knew how to combine the blue color, so I didn’t use it. I also have the impression that it doesn’t work well with my green eye color.

How pretty!! I love pink and blue too
I think I’ve never done a look using both, though. I may try something similar mydelf!
I wanted to ask you, if you don’t mind, what do you think about Alcohol Denat on hair products? I’ve read that it can dry hair but it’s used to give hold… I have a spray that claims to help protect hair while heat-styling but has Alcohol denat as its first ingredient…I’m confused, LoL!
Thank you in advance hun
Hugs :3

i think it looks really amazing. gio i really like your EOTD, your eyes are so..captivating.
Tavia: thanks and I’m glad you find it helpful. I think blues go very well with green eyes but it depends on the shade you’re using. I think lighter shades of blue works best than the darker ones for green eyes.
Eru: thanks! They are beautiful colors, aren’t they? Can’t wait to see what you come up with
And of course, I don’t mind hun. Personally, I avoid all products containing alcohol denat as I think the cons of using it ouweight the benefits. It is usually used in hair care products to make them spread evenly throughout the hair and to help reduce the time hair takes to dry. But alcohol denat is also very drying and damages the cuticle creating frizzy hair. Having said that, everyone is different doesn’t react the same way to products/ingredients. If you already used the spray and it didn’t damage your hair, keep using it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t risk it. Any styling product that contains conditioning agents (like dimethicone) will protect against heat, so there’s no need to use Alcohol Denat.
Plue: awww thanks hun, you’re so sweet!
Nikki: thanks. I was a bit worried about how it would have turned out but I’m very pleased with the result
Jenn: thanks. I think the colors look very pretty together too
Vonvon: thanks. Can’t wait to see you do a look with this combo!
