I love them too, they are so handy and useful! Doesn't the MUFE primer leave an ashen cast if you don't use with foundation, though? That always happen to me with green concealers/primers.

I absolutely love color correctors! I have a bright red nose from sun damage, and I hate wearing foundation every day, so I use the green color corrector primer from MUFE and I'm good to go!

Thanks for letting me know, Citrine, I've just corrected that.

And you're right Citrine, yellow concealer can be used to cover dark circles as well, but since this brightens up the eye area too, I'm not sure it would work for everyone. If dark cirlces aren't covered completely, highlightening that area will draw more attention to them.

These are very messy, esp if you buy the sample bags. I'd recommend the huge jar, that (and practice) would probably reduce the mess a bit.

I always though that yellow concealer is meant to neutralize the purple bruise/under eye circle. I guess I am wrong...Anyway, I would probably never buy powder concealer because the packaging just looks like a big hassle.

P.S.On the second paragraph you might have put "From ELF's website" by mistake.

Dao: it's a shame Everyday Minerals discounted their kits. This was my first time using mineral concealers and I'm very pleased with them. They are a bit messy, but good. You should try them if you can.

Tavia: thanks! I started using concealers pretty late as I wasn't sure what they'd do or how to apply them, but now I never leave the house without one. They are really good for covering skin imperfections like pimples, redness or dark circles. But if you're skin is pretty flawless, you don't really need them. ;)

Dee: I haven't tried EDM yet. The concealer sounds good but if it's lighter than Lumiere's I don't think it'll cover my dark circles completely. The only product that did that is Benefit Erase Paste, but it's sooo thick it can be hard to blend at times so I'm still looking for a good concealer for very dark circles.

Anna: ciao and thanks for your comment. I'm glad you like the blog and hope to see you around more often :) The sunflower concealer is really good, it brightened up my skin nicely and didn't look too fake. I used my Sephora concealer brush but any good concealer brush or small face brush with firm bristles will do.

Eru: this was my first time using mineral concealers. I usually stick to liquid or creams but I have to say these are pretty good. Who knew that mineral concealers could work so well? I didn't find them drying at all, at least not for my combination skin.
I love testing things on my boyfriend, but he's not very happy about it and doesn't let me do that often. He was a bit shocked when he saw the concealer was blue, I think he was scared he would have looked like a Smurf lol. But he didn't ;)

Ciao Gio! First comment from me, though I've been a reader of your great blog for a few months! The Sunflower corrector sounds really good...I don't have redness problems really, but my face could definitely do with a little brightening sometimes! What kind of brush did u use with this?
Anna x

I haven't tried any product from Lumiere, and that Salmon corrector is slightly darker then EDM's. Have you tried Everyday Minerals Gio? Their Peach and Abott's Perk Me Up corrector is pretty decent. I'm still trying to find a good concealer my dark circles as well.
