Yes and no…I jot down things that interests me (on a blog post but not on paper or my phone) but I don’t really “work toward” the list…So it’s more like nice-to-have-but-not-that-desirable-anyway-list.

If I really want a certain cosmetics I will just go ahead and get it…It’s like I either want something or I don’t.

Dee: that’s a great tip! I’ve never kept a list cos it would fill an entire notebook lol I should do something like that :)

Jyoan: that’s a great idea. Very handy! :)

Citrine: I know what you mean. There are so many things I want but when it comes down to purchase them I’m like “it’s pretty but I don’t really need or won’t be using it that much anyway”. The things that I really really really want I usually buy straight away.

Connie: I like it that you keep it realistic. I’m the same, there are things I want but once in the shop I buy something else that caught my attention that I wasn’t lemming before :)

Vonvon: I saw your list, it’s very nice. I like how you keep it short and don’t put only makeup/bauty products on it. :)

Anastasia: lol. I should get one then, I tend to forget things too unless it is something I really really really want :)

Jenn: I like your list, it’s so colorful! And I can see you’re a huge MAC fan :) They do make some great products.

Eru: I’d need a huge notebook for that lol, but yeah, I should. :) You should copy it to your blackberry, it would come in handy when you are out shopping :)

A wish list is an essential because it keeps me from making too many impulse purchases. If something is on my list for a few weeks, I know I really want it. Other things tend to fall off pretty quickly after the initial excitement fades.

It does get fairly long at times, though!

Well my wishlists are never frivolous, I use them to record things I really want and actually plan to buy, and I try to prioritise them so I can work my way through steadily and save up for things.

SugarSocial Beauty Blog: I wish it was that easy to avoid impulse buying for me lol. That’s a nice way to keep track of what you really want.

Anastasia: I like how you organize your wishlist and use it to list what you really want and work towards it. That way you don’t waste money on stuff that you don’t really want/need that much. I guess with me, I tend to remember what I really really want and my wishlist would just be a list to keep track of all the pretty things I see until I decide whether it’s actually worth to get them or not. It kinda defeats the purpose of a wishlist in a way though, hence why I never got round to writing it down.

That’s good of you Blu3. I know what you mean, there are so many great products around that, if we had to buy them all, we’d always be skint :)

Michelle, I’m like you. I know what I want to get, but once I go into a shop there are so many things that catch my eye it’s hard to stick to my wish list. :)
