DEFINITELY getting Haunting and Violet Edge. Maybe, if I can afford it, Crest the Wave and Push the Edge, too. I kinda want Off the Page but I’m not keen on ‘mustard’, I’d wanna swatch it.
I want every eyeshadow, liner and pigment in this collection. I find the lipstuff and quads totally boring though.

As much as I love palettes, I have 3 palettes which are similar in colors to the 3 palettes of Richard Phillips. So will pass on those to save some money for Maira Kalman!
My little girl is insisting that Violet Trance is the prettiest of the 6 eyeshadows in Maira Kalman. If I can have my way, I would get the Technokohls which have complementary eyeshadow shades in Maira Kalman. But of course, I can’t splurge so I would just have to wait till next week when they will hit our local MAC and go play with all of them, and then decide which are the ones I like the most.

Anastasia: I agree with you, the Richard Phillips collection looks kinda boring. The colors aren’t anything special in my opinion. The pigments and liners look gorgoeous and so bright, I love them! I’m not sure about the eyeshadows though. They look beautiful in the promo pictures but from the swatches I saw they aren’t as bright as I thought they’d be.
Vonvon: the palettes look boring to me. The colors are pretty but easily dupable so not worth getting in my opinion.
Your little girl has great taste, Violet Trance looks gorgeous!
The Technokohls are my fave items from the collection, I hope you can get all the ones you want. But knowing MAC they would probably be repromoted sooner or later so you may still get a chance to get them.
Violet Trance looks crap in the swatches, so that’s off my list. Crest the Wave maybe, I’m really liking the orange one. Forgot the name, cannot be bothered to push page up x.x

Ana, I like Violet Trance, just not enough to buy it. All the colors look beautifully bright in the pan, but they are too wearable and not unique once on the lid. If you don’t have anything similar in your collection, they’re worth getting, but I’d rather save the money for the technakols. Those are bright!
