Lip Gloss(with the exception of some limited edition ones) : they all look the same once it’s on lips anyway.
Body Wash: It gets down the drain within 30 seconds so…
Actually i don’t know what else, I mean, someone think 33 dollars for tube for cleanser is “too much” but the tube lasts me for 8 months so I think it’s perfectly cheap. Citrine´s last blog ..Nars Pandora Eyeshadow Duo
I won’t buy body wash, shampoo+conditioner, mascara, eyeliner and lipgloss – even if its a pretty color. Though its hurts when I see a color a like and I have to walk away, haha. Dee´s last blog ..Benefit “That Gal” + Some Projects
I buy drugstore mascaras and lip glosses. Also, I get cheap blushes as well. And I refuse to pay big bucks for false lashes, that way I can toss them away without feeling guilty. Dao´s last blog ..MAC 217 Blending Brush: I Can’t Live, If Livin’ Is Without You

Danielle: I tend to stay away from overpriced things too. I may give in and buy expensive skincare or foundations but I have to try a sample first and be sure it works extremely well. Setting limits is a great idea and saves you lots of money. Yours are very reasonable too. A lip balms that costs more than $4 or a blush that costs over $25 are definitely too expensive!
Citrine: I agree about lipgloss, high-end and drugstore ones all look the same to me. If I bought an expensive one it would have to be a very unique shade to justify the price.
Personally, I think over $33 for a cleanser is a bit too much considering what a cleanser is and does, but if it lasts that long it may be worth it. But mine tend to run out pretty quick..
Fabulessbeauty: I agree, I can’t justify paying lots of money for something that I only use for about 3 month, dosn’t matter how good it is.
Dee: I feel your pain, that happens to me too. I always see lots of stuff that I like but if it’s overpriced I walk away. It’s not easy *sighs*
Dao: I had forgotten about false lashes, I wouldn’t pay a lot for them either. It’s not worth it since you throw them away pretty soon.

Dao – some great false lashes are ones that you find in Asian drugstores or grocery stores in the beauty section! Some great brands are Ipum and Darkness. They run around $4-6 and usually come with 4 lash strips per box.
Anything, really. Anything for over $40 for a single item is way too much! Here are my limits:
Lip balm: $4
Lipstick: $20
Lip gloss: $20 (maybe)
Blush: $25
Foundation: $30
Skincare: $20
Lip Gloss(with the exception of some limited edition ones) : they all look the same once it’s on lips anyway.
Body Wash: It gets down the drain within 30 seconds so…

Danielle: thanks for the tip, I’ll look for them the next time I go shopping.

hmm that’d be lipbalm, mascara, shampoo (but I do spend more on conditioner), body wash, lotion.

I agree with you Shuu, it’s not worth it to spend lots of money for the things you mentioned imo.
