Hey ladies,
as you probably know by now, I’m into bright and bold makeup, but every now and then it’s nice to do something different. I wanted to do a more subdued look but with just a splash of color and this is what came out. Please let me know what you think and, as always, constructive criticism is welcome

Products used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- Gosh Effect Powder in Pineapple
- Sleek Original palette (brownish copper)
- Get in line palette (brown)
- Barry M Dazzle Dust #65 green iridescent
- Helena Rubinstein Glorious Mascara
Directions:
Apply Urban Decay Primer Potions all over lid as a base.
Apply Gosh Effect Powder in Pineapple on the inner lid and crease, and a brown shade on the outer lid and crease.
Apply a copper shade at the center of the lid where the two colors meet and blend.
Apply a white shade on the browbone to highlight.
Using MAC 219 pencil brush apply Gosh pineapple pigment on the inner lower lashline, the brown shade you used previously on the outer lower lashline and the copper shade on the center lower lashline. Blend where the colors met
Finish off with applying mascara.

These are some of my favorite types of colors to use on eyes! Very glamorous and not too over the top! =)

gorgeous combi! the gold you used can be applied to your crease as well to glam up the whole look

I really like this
Soft, yet sparkly and interesting. If you normally go for bright colors, this is definitely a nice, neutral alternative, because it’s not boring!

OMG, this is beautiful! I like that gold eyeshadow you use. I’ll probably copy this, but use more brown shadows.

I think if you used the Pineapple pigment in the center of your eyes, you would have a slight 3-D effect and it would definitely make your eye color pop even more. I’d love to see you mix browns with some forest green colors. Nice look Gio!

Kajal Couture: Thanks. I prefer brights, but these type of colors look very pretty too and are very wearable as well.
Shuu: Thanks, I think the colors work well together. And thanks for the suggestion as well, that would be pretty. I admit I never know how to use these types of colors as I usually use brighter shades.
Shayla: thanks! I like neutrals but I admit I get bored easily when I wea them. I always try to add a bit color to brighten up the look a bit while still keeping it soft and wearable.
Dao: thanks! Can’t wait to see your look!
Dee: thanks, I’m glad you like it. And also thanks for your advice, I like the idea of a 3-D effect and I’m going to try it soon. I’ll try to come up with a brown/green look too, that would be a very nice combo
Celeste: thank you, I’m glad you like it!
Woooow! Shiny! I like this eye shadows!

Anastacia, thank you! I love shimmery and shiny shadows!
I like this one a lot, but am unsure about the Barry M green iridescent color. It seems that color is more cool-toned while the rest is warm. Overall I do like this look especially the brownish copper!
Thanks Danielle, I’m glad you like it.
I hadn’t really noticed that Barry M green iridescent is more cool-toned than the other colors. That is one of my fave colors to highlight and I automatically reach to it most of the time. But you’e right, a warmer highlighting shade would have complimented the look much better. I shall be more careful in the future, thanks.
love it! would it look good with blue eyes?
I’m glad you like it, drooling isn’t pretty. This would look beautiful with blue eyes. Warm shades like brown and gold are a great choice for blue eyes.
