I used to read Perez Hilton and he made fun of Mariah Carey’s heavily retouched photos. I guess a bit of touch ups does not hurt, but transforming a toad to a prince is too much.

Dao, I think a bit of retouching is acceptable although I don’t really understand this obsession to look perfect. No one is so why hide flaws in pictures?
But retouching in ads shouldn’t be allowed. It’s not like it does companies any favours. Do they really expect people to believe their antiaging cream, for example, works when anyone can clearly see the picture was photoshopped?
