I’m unimpressed with the latest MAC collections. The only thing from this I think I’d purchase is a lipstick in Saint Germain, which isn’t even limited edition.

I don’t wear lipstick, and I don’t like Dazzleglasses. I heard that most of the lips are quite sheer, especially Patisserie.

Anastasia: I feel the same about MAC collections. The only one I was interested in this year was A Rose Romance but the colors looked like they could be easily duped so I passed. I wish they would come out with something more exciting like C-Shok again.
Saint germain looks very pretty, but I prefer London Life. Maybe that’s because of the anglophile in me. I doubt I’m gonna gt it though.

Dee: I things the Dazzleglasses are nice but yeah, most of them are sheer and look pretty much the same. That’s why I only have a couple of them.

Anastacia: cockney looks very pretty :)

I think they’ve run out of colours. I mean they must have, by now, surely? I have more colours in my makeup collection than in a Dulux paint colour chart.

I seem to only wear bubblegum pink lipstick or purple. I guess I don’t really do understated!

I was thinking the same Ana. They seem to release lots of re-promotes and boring colors lately so I guess they don’t have any new ideas. Considering how many collections they release I guess it must be hard to always come out with original stuff. I wish they’d start releasing less but more interesting collections, then 50 boring ones a year!

I’d prefer it, even, if they recycled their own limited edition items entirely. I suspect most MAC lovers – old and new – would rather have the chance to get the highly-sought-after collections like C-Shock and Barbie Loves Mac again than see permanent products swept into new categories and the odd re-promote from less popular lines.

I have to agree with you, lots of people would be very interested in those collections again. Too bad MAC doesn’t seem to think so.
