Hey ladies,
today I wanted to show you a green look I did a couple of days ago. Green is my fave eyeshadow color and I use it almost daily as it works well with lots of colors, but I rarely do an all green look. I usually prefer creating colorful combinations than using different hues of one color but I wanted to play with my greens so here what came out:
Products used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- Barry M Dazzle Dust #65 green iridescent
- NYX Ultra Pearl Mania pigment in Lime Pearl
- Barry M Dazzle Dust #14 khaki
- Sleek Original eyeshadow palette (black)
- Barry M Dazzle Dust #15 aqua
- Helena Rubinstein Glorious mascara
Directions:
Apply Urban Decay Primer Potion all over lid with your fingers. Swipe NYX pigment in lime on the lid. Mix a khaki and a black shade together, apply on the crease and, using Smashbox Crease brush, blend. Apply Barry M Dazzle Dust in green iridescent on the browbone to highlight. Using MAC 219 pencil brush, swipe an aqua shade on your lower lashline. Finish off with applying mascara.

That’s such a cool e/s combo there, nice! May I know, is Urban Decay Primer Potion really good? I always see Connie uses it in her tutorials. I’m looking for an eye primer since I have none. Time to start my investment.

UDPP is amazing! My eyesahdow used to crease all the time and fade after a few hours, but not anymore! When I use this primer there is no creasing and the makeup stays put all day! I apply it in the morning and it doesn’t disappear until I remove it at night.
The only think I don’t like is packaging. There is still a lot of product there that the wand can reach. Urban Decay has just released a new packaging, now the wand is angled so that it should reach all the product more easily. I haven’t tried the new wand yet and although it’s an improvement, I’m a bit skeptical. But to reach all the product you can always remove the wand stopper.

I was tired of the old layout. I’ve always wanted a three column theme but wordpress.com has a very limited theme selection and you can’t modify your layout without a paid upgrade. So if I had to pay, I thought I’d better get my own doman and hosting and have total freedom. And now I finally have a layout I’m very satisfied with. I’m glad you like it

I admit at times I keep forgetting awards too and then a couple of days later I suddenly remember it lol
I don’t know, maybe I wrote too much… I mentioned I’d sold all my Barry M eyeshadow on eBay because I just never used it, despite loving them, but I’m lemming after some of their new colours already, like Block Blue and Parrot.
When I had my blog done I asked for three columns – looks more professional – but must’ve gotten our wires crossed since she did it the way it looks now, but I loved it, so I didn’t ask her to change it. You look so professional :]

Anastasia: I can’t belive you sold the Barry M shadows, they are amazing! But then I guess if I lived in the UK and could go to superdrug whenever I wanted, I might sell some too. There’s no point in keeping something you don’t use.

If you like, next time I go to Superdrug I’ll swatch the new colours they have for you? My local superdrug doesn’t carry many of the new ones. Sigh. But they have a lot of new fine glitter dusts too.
I loooove parrot green and Block Blue though, and Superdrug are doing 3 for £9.99 again…
But I just bought a new Sleek palette (omg, it’s NEON, Gio, NEON, can you imagine how happy I am?) so no new cosmetics for me until I can pay rent!

I only have one Barry M dazzle dust at the moment but I love it so much! if only I wear neon green on a daily basis! but I did manage to get a friend of a friend to buy some for me. can’t wait!

So, I’m trying to convince myself that neon colors aren’t wearable lol Did you see the Safari palette? That looks very pretty too, hopefully it will be easier to get.
I knew you would have loved the Acid palette! I saw some swatches online and it’s an awesome palette for us ladies that love bright shades! I’ve been looking all over the internet to find a website that sells it but I could only find chaos, original, storm and jewels

I never found Safari or Jewels in my local store =[ never even saw swatches! Which is a shame, because Jewels sounds like it’d be a really useful palette to have.
I played with the Acid palette this afternoon, it’s the first time I’ve found neon shades that are actually pigmented. It also has a lovely bright matte but not-neon purple, and some gorgeous iridescent shimmery shades which are more wearable.
It’s a great palette, but the colours in it would need to be mixed with stuff outside the palette to make wearable looks, I think, otherwise it’s just too much pop. I wasn’t very successful this afternoon, not the palette’s fault, but because I couldn’t think of how to use such bold colours together well.

I don’t think Safari is out yet Ana. I’ve read on some blogs that superdug have already got the palette but are waiting for the official launch on 8th July to put them on the shelves. So, hopefully you’ll still be able to get that. As for jewels, I was on ebay eyesterday and I found one there but it costs more than it does in shops!
Acid sounds gorgeous, just my kind of palette too. I think the colors are more suitable to wear on special occasions than everyday, but I’m sure you’ll find a way to make them work
