When I think of Vichy, I think about their skincare products. I tried a few and they have always worked very well for me. I have to admit, though, that I tend to forget they have a makeup line too. But after using this tinted lip balm, that came free with a magazine, I’m curious to try more!
The tinted lip balm, which is part of Vichy’s Oligo 25 range, comes in 6 shades. I have Gold Pink, a sheer golden peachy pink shade with shimmers. It gives lips a hint of color with lots of shine.
The balm applies smoothly and isn’t sticky. It also hydrates lips nicely and leaves them feeling soft. It contains Diisostearyl Malate, a skin conditioning agent mostly used in lip products, Octyldodecanol, a fatty alcohol that has emollient properties, Ange Glycerin, which attracts water to the skin, making it feel softer and smoother. In addition, it also contains beeswax, a a natural wax produced by bees to build the walls of their honeycomb, which has emollient properties.

The staying power is ok for a lip product. It’s not longlasting but it doesn’t disappear shortly after you’ve applied it either. It has a nice scent, which isn’t overpowering and you can’t smell it once you’ve applied the gloss on your lips.
The packaging is simple and pretty and reminds me of Lancome Juicy Tubes. It has a slant applicator, which makes the product easy to apply.
The price is not cheap for a tinted lip balm but not too steep either. I don’t think I’d purchase the other shades because all the reviews I’ve read say that they go on pretty clear and I don’t feel like that would be worth €9,00. But this particular shade, golden pink, is so pretty that I think the price tag is right and I would definitely repurchase when I run out of it.
Summary:
Overall, as a lip balm, this is average. It moisturizes lips, leaving them soft. But as a gloss it is good. Golden pink is a beautiful shade that gives lips just a hint of color and shine. It isn’t sticky and the staying powder isn’t so bad for a lip product. The price isn’t cheap for a tinted lip balm, but this shade is so pretty that it’s worth a try.

the color looks really sweet on your lips. but for the price, i think i can live without it. lol.
Tine: their makeup line isn’t advertised much. It’s not a big line but their products look interesting. I saw them a couple of times but then forget then. You’re welcome.
prettybeautiful: I’m glad you like it
I know, the price can be a turn off. That’s why I choose to think of this shade as a lip gloss, so I can justify the price. But for a tinted lip gloss, it’s too much.
