Name: Original Eyeshadow Palette
Brand: Sleek
Size: 12×1.1g
Price: £4.49
From Sleek’s website:
A palette with highly-pigmented and pearlescent pressed eye shadow shades. Velvet to the touch, this eyeshadow will give full and shimmery coverage to the eye lid for maximum effect.
What I liked:
- 12 beautiful shimmery shades
- very pigmented
- long-lasting
- easy to work with
- the packaging
- the price
What I didn’t like:
- not easily available outside the UK

I was introduced to Sleek Makeup by the lovely Anastasia. She kept raving about their palettes so I asked her if she could buy the Original one for me. I ended up loving it so much that I also purchased Chaos, a palette of bright matte shades (review coming soon!), when I was in London.
There also are two more palettes available: Storm, a selection of neutral shimmery and matte shades, and Acid, a set of very bold and vibrant shades with both matte and shimmery finishes.
Sleek I-Divine Original Palette contains 12 mineral-based eyeshadows. It has both neutral and colorful but still very wearable shades, all of which have a shimmery finish. And it only costs £4.49!

All the shades feel very soft to the touch, apply smoothly and are very easy to blend. In addition, they are all super pigmented and stay on all day and didn’t crease on me!
I really like the packaging. I find the black case sleek and classy and, unlike most palettes, it also has a large mirror that you can actually use when you apply your makeup. It comes with a double-sponge applicator, but I prefer to use my brushes. I’m not a fan of sponge-tip applicators because, even though they give great color intensity, they also tend to soak up too much color.
Sleek makeup is sold in Superdrug stores throughout the UK. If you live abroad, you can purchase their products online at Shades Beauty Makeup and Paul’s Hair World. I have never purchased from these websites yet, although I plan to soon, so be careful if you decide to buy from them.
Summary:
This palette has become one of my staples. It is very cheap yet the quality is great! All the shades have great color payoff and last all day. If you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend you do so!
Rating: 5/5

yep, Celeste. When I went to London, some Supedrug stores didn’t have many left. I’ll be very happy when that happens too, can’t wait!
Love Sleek products. They have come an awful long way from what they used to be when I was a teenager. The eyeshadows and blushers are great value.
Chichi, I found out only recently that Sleek has been around for years and I was really surprised. I though they were a new brand lol. I love their products too, esp the eyeshadows. They are great value for money.
I also love Sleek and I already own 2 palettes and 1 liner of this wicked brand though I live in Germany. I’ve ordered them via shadesbeauty as some girls wrote about this site in a beautyforum. Otherwise I wouldn’t have chosen option 1. Has anyone made some experiences with Paul’s Hair World? Are they good? I’ve visited the site and found out that they have lots more items by Sleek. Anyways, great review! I totally support it. Best wishes from Germany
Mylanqolia, I’m glad you love Sleek too. They products are amazingly good and such great value for money! Unfortunately I haven’t bought anything from Paul’s Hair World yet, so I’m not sure what they service is like. But I know Sleek are about to launch an ecommerce site in a few weeks and they should post worldwide, so we’ll finally be able to get their stuff soon
Thanks for this review! I’m going out to Superdrug now to pick up the Storm palette-can’t wait to try it.
Emma, you’re welcome. I can’t wait to hear what you think of the Storm palette. I’m sure you’ll love it. Sleek palettes are little gems, and so pigmented!
I bought this palette and Sunset palette yesterday from Superdrug. My, they have increased their prices I think…it costs GBP5.99 now for all palettes available….the other 2 I saw were Storm and Acid.

Vonvon, I’m so glad you finally got these palettes! I know how much you love your palettes and these are awesome! I just can’t rave about them enough. Yeah, I noticed the price increase when I was in London last April.
Can’t say I’m pleased about that but at least they only increased it of about one pound so they are still pretty affordable and the quality hasn’t changed. Still, as great as usual so I think they are still worth the price.
