Today, Beautiful With Brains turns one!

I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for a year already! It’s been such an amazing year and I got to know so many great people and beauty bloggers, who I consider to be friends.

I’m really grateful to all of you who visit my blog, read and comment. It really means a lot to me and it’s very appreciated! This blog wouldn’t be the same without you and I hope you’ll continue to visit as BWB grows.

To celebrate this occasion, and to show you guys my appreciation, I have a giveaway for you all:

    Happy Anniversary! I’d really love every single one of these products! I can’t get any of those where I live, even the MAC pigment, because I didn’t get it when Hello Kitty was out. Also, I’ve been wanting Labello products for the longest time, since I heard they’re the best lip balms ever.

    I love your posts about ingredients, I really have no idea where you hunt for such extensive information! I’m so glad that you post lesser-known facts about what goes into skincare and makeup. I often read ingredient lists but have little idea of what those stuff are or where they come from. Thanks for the posts, keep it up!

    Happy Birthday and may this be the first of many more to come. The best birthday gift I ever received was a CD from my sister. My father and I were extremely close and when he passed away unexpectedly, I was so devastated that I felt my life was over. I couldn’t even bear to look at his picture because the loss was so great. In her attempt to help me heal and move on, she took all the videos and 8mm tapes made of the family as we were growing up and had them compiled onto several CD’s. On my 32nd birthday, she gathered the family together, sat us in front of the TV and slid one of the CDs into the machine. Although many tears were shed as we watched the video, remembering all the love we shared and all the fun times we spent together was the greatest gift I ever received. It’s a gift that keeps on giving and has allowed me to open my heart to happiness and love again.

    I love those birthday parties I go to where I get the present not the guest. Especially the MAC Deep Blue Green pigment from Hello Kitty Collection. I’ve been wanting to try it all for so long but with the economy I just haen’t had the extra income to do so. Hopefully this will work!

    well I seen a few movies this weekend last movie I watched was the truman show i know its old but that movie pissed me off. Poor truman it just goes to show we believe whats in our environment to be real. Thats why people should go outside of their hometown and explore the world as the way of thinking varies amongst many cultures and continents.

    Happy Anniversary! I heard of Barry M and always have wanted to try the products.
    The lip balm is in my favorite flavour, cherry. My favorite birthday was my 21st.
    I was in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on a bus trip to see Amish Country. I was with my Mom, my best friend, her Mom and Aunt. We were having a fantastic time. We went to eat at this huge restuarant that served family style food. Somehow it was found out it was my birthday. There was a piano in the room and a woman got up and played Happy Birthday to me. The whole room sang along. There must have been 300 people in the place. I enjoyed my whole weekend trip. Also had another celebration when we got home. makeupgirl21@comcast.net

    Have you ever noticed how, when someone says they’re going on holiday, you go, “Oh! Anywhere nice?” and how pointless a question that is?

    I mean, if someone’s going on holiday, paying to go there, evidently they think it’s going to be nice. They wouldn’t be going otherwise.

    I did it yesterday at work and then realised how stupid it is. I’m going to quote Ed Byrne too, when he says “have you noticed how we all say “the airport”, like there’s only one? Which would be pointless.”
