Hello ladies,
how are you all doing today? The past few weeks have been very hectic for me and on most days I didn’t have much time to do my makeup. I usually wear neutrals when I’m in a rush but yesterday I felt like doing something different. I came up with this simple and quick look using silver and purple. I hope you like it:
Products used:
- UDPP Primer Potion
- Max Factor Color Perfection Duo Eyeshadow in Star Studded Black: silver (all over the lid, crease, browbone and inner lower lashline) and black (outer V and lower lashline)
- Kiko Eyeshadow in Vinaccia Scuro: crease
- Lancome High Definicils mascara
I went shopping for a new mascara this morning and found this kit By Helena Rubinstein. It costs €27.99 (about $37.00) and contains Glorious Mascara, All mascaras complete eye makeup remover and a sample of Collagenist Eye Zoom with pro-Xfill eye cream. I’ve never bought anything by Helena Rubinstein before cos the prices are very high, so I’m very excited about trying these products! I’m a sucker for kits like this as they are a great opportunity to try products one otherwise couldn’t afford and see how they well they work before splurging lots on money on them.
What makeup look do you wear when you’re in a rush? And what do you think of HR products, are they worth the price?

I got a HR masacra sample recently. Nasty, nasty stuff. I used it once and threw it out. I don’t think it was the same mascara as in your set though.
I like this look, very cute! When I’m in a rush, just some mascara and smudged out liner would do. I don’t think we have HR makeup over here but that seems like good price for the kit.
When I am in a rush, I don’t wear anything (not even sunscreen)
and I think it was quite beneficial to my skin actually (like not putting on anything at all.)
Or if I feel like it, I rub on some cheek stain, it makes me look all awake and smiley.

Jinnzor: Thanks! And I really hope it wasn’t the mascara! I have to say though, that I didn’t have much luck with high-end mascaras so far. They all looked kinda natural and either add lenght but not volume, or gave volume but didn’t hold a curl. And I prefer mascaras that gives a false lashes effect so hopefully, this will deliver that.
Dao: thanks! Apparently the price of the kit is the same as that of the mascara alone!! Isn’t that crazy? But considering the kit contains 3 products, I think the price is ok.
Citrine: I think it’s good to give your skin a break from makeup every now and then and let it breathe. If I stay at home all day I don’t wear anything at all for that reason.
