I got a sample of Crystal Noir from my local shop when I made a purchase a few months ago. Versace perfumes aren’t advertised that much and I honestly had no idea this was even out! But as soon as I sniffed it, I fell in love, the scent is gorgeous!
Crystal Noir is a floral, oriental fragrance, which isn’t very sweet but unusual. I couldn’t find the list of notes anywhere, not even on the Versace website, but they are a very interesting blend. I can smell the strong gardenia note right from the beginning and the amber and musky dry down take this scent to a dark level.
The fragrance is exotic and mysterious, warm and sensual and makes me feel sexy and confident every time I wear it. It could be a bit too strong for daytime, but it’s the perfect fragrance to wear on a night out or on a date. And despite being a EDT, the scent lingers all day on me in a subtle way.
I don’t really like the packaging. The bottle suits the name of the perfume very well but the cap is way too huge for my taste.
Summary:
Overall, I love this fragrance! It smells gorgeous! It’s a light floral with oriental notes that is sexy and mysterious, dark and warm. And it lasts for hours! However, I don’t think the packaging is very pretty.

It sounds like it smells good, but I’d have to agree with you on the bottle. It’s just not attractive. Maybe if the crystal were smaller or something.. flatter, maybe.
The top of the bottle is very appealing. It looks like a huge diamond… hehe~
Danielle: I really like oriental fragrances and this one smll soo good. It’s a shame I couldn’t find the list of notes anywhere though, it would have given people a bette idea whether this was something they would like or not. I think the bottle would have looked better if the cap had been smaller. Like this, it looks tacky.
Ahleesa: it really does like like a diamond. I’m just not a fan of big caps, I think it would have looked more elegant if only it had been smaller. But I’m glad you like it.
Elegant and mysterious… I simply fell in love with it. It’s a more mature smell on the surface, but I don’t know… it has kind of a playful hidden layer… My favorite so far!
Claudia, I completely agree with you. It’s a mysterious fragrance yet classy and beautiful. It’s one of my faves as well and I hope it never gets discounted.
I really really really do not like this Perfume.
