orange-and-yogurt

Orange and yogurt are not only tasty but they’re really good for your skin as well. Orange is full of Vitamin C and has astringent properties, while yogurt is rich in proteins. It also contains zinc, which has healing properties and calms inflammation, and lactic acid, a AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) that exfoliates and improves collagen production.

If you mix these two ingredients together, you’ll make a mask that exfoliates, nourishes and cleans pores. Here’s the recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tablespoon of yogurt
- Juice of about 1/4 of an orange

INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix the ingredients together.
Spread the mixture on your face.
Rinse after 5-10 minutes.

you can choose any brands but yogurt used in homemade recipes should be plain and preferably unflavoured. It’s also better to choose one with live active culture so you’ll get the full benefits from it.

Does it matter whether the yoghurt is nonfat or whole milk or something in between?

That depends on your skin type. Yogurt that contains fat are good for dy skin, but for combination or oily skin non-fat would be best.
