Name: Hydra Luminys
Brand: Pupa
Size: 30ml/1.01 fl oz
Price: €22,19

From the packaging:
A rich and creamy foundation, yet light and comfortable, which moisturizes, brightens and protects the skin giving a fresh, long-lasting radiant complexion. Coverage, which can range from light to medium, ensures an even complexion and a natural healthy colour. Imperfections are concealed and the face appears extremely smooth.

What I liked:
- sheer to medium coverage
- makes skin look natural and glowy
- leaves skin feeling very soft
- feels very light on the skin
- long-lasting
- has SPF 10
- the packaging

What I didn’t like:
- not many shades available

I love Pupa but I usually stay away from their foundations as they only have a very limited color selection (between 4 to 6 shades), which means most people, me included, won’t be able to find their match. Hydra Luminys Foundation is no exception. In fact, it is available in only 4 shades. I have no.01 Light Ivory, which is slightly darker than my skintone.

The foundation has a creamy consistency and goes on smoothly. It provides sheer to medium coverage that covers small imperfections. It even outs the skintone and makes skin looking natural and slightly dewy. It also leaving skin feeling very soft and smooth. It is very light and I feel like I’m not wearing anything at all. This would definitely be a good foundation to wear in the summer too when you need something lighter that still provides good coverage. It lasts for most of the day, although if you’re going out in the evening, you would need to reapply it.

The foundation has SPF 10. It contains Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octyl Methoxycinnamate or Octinoxate), which protect skin against UVB, but not UVA rays, so you should use a broad spectrum sunscreen before applying this product.

I also like the packaging. It’s simple and sleek but pretty and the pump dispenser provides just the right amount of product you need.

Summary:
Overall, I love this foundation. It is very light but still provides sheer to medium coverage. It is longlasting and leaves skin feeling soft and looking natural and dewy. However there are only 4 shades to choose from.

Rating: 4/5

i am such a pupa fan now especially its professionals stuff. i might have seen this product here but not really sure. sounds interesting. if you think 4-6 shades is bad, think again. we normally have 3 shades here. Pupa really needs to do more colours!!!

I’ve always adored Pupa, the quality of their products is really great and this foundation is no exception. My mum uses this too and she likes it as well. But they seriosly need to release more shades. I mean, 3 or 4 shades for a foundation is a joke!
