Ana, I agree with you. It is quite big, and ugly, and unnecessary. I think it’d make a great gag gift though.

No, never.
As a gift only if I knew the person really wanted it.

Buying it otherwise would erase all the ‘turn off the light when you leave the room, save water, don’t use plastic bags, etc.’ work I’ve been doing – look at the size of it!
All that wasted plastic…

I actually bought one of these for my dad and brothers for this Christmas! My dad has a great sense of humor and my brothers are only 10 and 12. They are at that age when gross = awesome. I’m pretty sure my mom wouldn’t let it be in her bathroom, but my brothers will probably use it in theirs. Even if it never gets used, they will appreciate the humor!
