Name: Lip Gloss
Brand: Nars
Size: 6.25g
Price: $24
From Nars’s website:
Serious shine and sexy color in sheer, creamy and semi-sheer formulas. Highly pigmented.
What I liked:
- many shades available
- very pigmented
- subtle shine
- the packaging
What I didn’t like:
- sticky
- not long-lasting
- the price
Nars lip gloss is available in 36 beautiful shades. The one I tried is Orgasm. It is a soft sheer pink with golden shimmer. Although the color is quite pigmented, it looks soft and natural on my lips and it gives them a nice subtle shine. It is buildable so if you want a bolder color, you can just layer it on a bit.
The lipgloss has a thick consistency and is sticky, so if you have a problem with that, this is not for you. The staying power is just average. It only lasts a couple of hours if you don’t eat or drink.
I really like the packaging, it is sleek and elegant. It has a sponge tip applicator that makes the lipgloss go on easy and smooth.
Summary:
Overall, this lipgloss is just average. The color is really pretty and I like the subtle shine it gives my lips. The packaging is very pretty too. However, it is sticky and not long-lasting.

I agree, the NARS glosses are just so-so. I don’t like the smell as well, and the price is too prohibitive for an average product.
I actually expected a lot more from this lipgloss, considered it is so expensive. Instead it is just average and definitely not worth the prica tag.
