Name: VolumeLash.com
Brand: Annabelle
Size: 6.8ml/0.24oz
Price: $8.95

From Annabelle’s website:
A mascara that gives you up to 5X more volume. Its formula instantly plumps lashes while the hybrid brush gives maximum volume and length. The innovative brush-comb combination made of elastomer/polymer creates outstanding lash intensity. Smooth and lightweight, its formula resists smudging and flaking all day. It dries quickly so you can apply two successive coats, even three if you dare.

What I liked:
- the brush
- gives your lashes a nice natural look
- doesn’t flake nor smudge
- doesn’t clump

What I didn’t like:
- doesn’t give much volume and lenght
- doesn’t last all day

A while ago, I was contacted by a rep from Annabelle cosmetics asking me if I would have liked to try their mascara and if I liked it, to blog about it. I’ve been using it for a few days now so here’s my review.

The mascara claims to give you up to 5X more volume, but does it deliver? Unfortunately it doesn’t. One coat doesn’t really do much for my lashes, two give them some volume and lenght but not really the dramatic effect this promises. I was quite disappointed because I have short lashes so I’m always looking for a mascara that gives that dramatic, false eyelashes effect,  but I have to say I quite like the subtle natural look this gives my lashes. In addition, the mascara doesn’t flake. I’ve put it through a crying test and it didn’t smudge at all!

I also love the brush! The applicator is half brush, half comb. The brush applies a nice coat of mascara while the comb separates lashes and gives them more definition. I always comb my lashes after applying mascara so I find it really useful to have two brushes in one. The small wand also allows more control. The only bad thing about the brush is that it doesn’t have bristles at the tip of the wand so there often is a blob of mascara there that makes it is a bit difficult to apply the product at the corner of the eyes. But apart from that, this mascara doesn’t clump. However, it does need to be reapplied during the day.

Summary:
Overall, I really liked this mascara. It doesn’t do much for lenght and volume, but it gives your lashes a nice natural look that is perfect for the daytime. It doesn’t flake, smudge nor clump. The wand, half comb half brush,  allows to apply a nice coat of mascara and separate the lashes for more definition. However, it isn’t long-lasting.

Rating: 4/5

You’re welcome. This is similar to Maybelline Volum express mascara. They both promise lots of volume but only give lashes a natural look. Annabelle’s is a lot better in my opinion though, it doesn’t smudge nor clump at all! And the brush is very handy.
Annabelle Cosmetics is a Canadian makeup brand.

I never comment on any website about anything but this product has prompted me to do so!

I recently purchased this mascara at Walmart and am now an Annabelle convert.
This is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST MASCARA I HAVE EVER USED!
It goes on lovely – the way the brush is designed applies, lengthens and separates you lashes beautifully!!

My two daughters are also now Annabelle mascara converts!
Great Product, Great Value and it is Canadian!!!

I’m glad you and you daughters love it Wanda. It is one of the best mascaras that I have ever tried and I just love the brush too. It separates lashes very well.
