Product review: Celine Dion Belong Fragrance

in reviews

Name: Belong
Brand: Celine Dion
Size: 100ml/3.4oz
Price: $44

What I liked:
- smells nice

What I didn’t like:
- not long-lasting
- the packaging

Belong is a floral fragrance. It has top notes of red pepper berries, bergamot and watery pineapple, a heart of sherry baby orchid, crystal peony and cotton flower and bottom notes of hinoki wood.
The scent is subtle and soft, not overpowering at all. It smells lovely, although there is nothing unique about it at all and it only lasts a few hours so it needs to be reapplied during the day.
I’m not too keen on the simple pentagon-shaped bottle either. It is too thick and clanky for my liking.

Summary:
Belong is a nice and subtle floral fragrance and although I like the scent, it’s not unique and doesn’t last all day.

Rating: 3/5

Most of Celine Dion’s perfumes are not strong and very wearable. I have the 1st one and really enjoy it. Belong I think is stronger than the rest of them but it’s not the nicest of the bunch. I did a review on her latest perfume Sensational and it’s a nice one.

Have you smelled DKNY’s Be Delicious? The green one, I love it. I’m a fan of fruity, sweet fragrances and this is my favourite right now, it’s gorgeous. I just bought my Armani perfume though so I may wait until January sales to buy any more – I’m hoping a lot of perfume gift sets will be marked down.

Dao: this is the only Celine Dion perfume I tried. I’m not too keen on celebrity fragrance as they all tend to smell the same imo but I like to get samples as sometimes you find a really great one. I like the smell and is very wearable but for $44 I’d like something more unique. I’ve just read your review and Sensational sounds interesting. The packaging is very appealing for me as well, I’m a sucker for everything pink. I’ll check it out next time I go to my local shop and maybe ask for a sample.

Anastasia: I haven’t smelled the DKNY one yet but I plan to do it soon. I love fruity fragrances as long as they are not too sweety. I usually never buy perfumes cos they are so expensive! The only ones I have are either samples or gifts. My fave at the moment is Serpentine by Cavalli, it has a fantastic smell! I hope it will be on sale after the holiday so I can buy the whole bottle, I only have a sample at the moment and I rarely use it cos I want it to last as long as possible.
