Name: Mega Glo Illuminating Powder
Brand: Wet n Wild
Size: 9g
Price: 4,99€

From WetnWild website:
Illuminates and warms complexion for a skin-perfecting glow! These four harmonious shades can be used individually or together to highlight face, cheeks and eyes for a luminescent radiance.

What I liked:
- the price
- multi-tasking product
- gives you a natural glow
- the packaging

What I didn’t like:
- not long-lasting

I was looking for a highlighter when I saw Wet n Wild Mega Glo Illuminating Powder. It has four shades and it was only €4,99 so I decided to try it. I bought this in Catwalk Pink because the colors suit my very fair skin well.

The shades can be worn alone or blended together. The product is finely milled and the pigmentation is just ok. The product gives you a subtle, natural shine, without glitter. It works very well as an highlighter and because two of the shades aren’t too shimmery I use them for contouring as well. It can also be used as a blusher or eyeshadow. Because this can be used in so many ways, it is really handy when you don’t have much time to apply your makeup.

The colors blend easily and it is very difficult to go overboard with this. It is packaged in a round compact and it has a twist top so it won’t open in your bag.
The only thing that I don’t like about this product is the staying power. It wears off very fast and it needs to be reapplied several times during the day.

Summary:
Overall, I really like the product. It gives you a natural glow, is easy to apply and can be used as a highlighter, blush, bronzer and eyeshadow. However, it isn’t long-lasting.

Rating: 4/5

I reviewed this product before, it looks like Cargo beach bronze but a lot cheaper. I love the silkiness of it but did not notice much of the wear off.

Thanks for the review! that looks very tempting! I wouldn’t really mind that it’s not long lasting. I’m a sucker for illuminating stuff. the price is great too!

Dao: you’re right, they look similar. I was gonna try the cargo one but then I saw this which is more budget friendly and works great. I’m glad it lasts on you, it only lasts a few hours on me, but that’s ok as I’m never out for the whole day anyway.

Connie: I love highlighters as well and this is great! It does the job well and is so cheap, you should definitely try it!

Alyssa: you’re welcome :)

Jessica: I love them too. And you’re right, I remember trying some wet n wild products years ago but didn’t like them at all. But I’ve heard some good things about the brand lately so thought I’d try some of their products again and they are a lot better now.

this actually works better than nars orgasm on me, no lies. I will never shell out $30 for blush again.

K, does it? I’m so glad to hear that. I haven’t tried Nars Orgasm yet but this is one of my fave products. It works so well! :)
