I am looking forward to see the entries and see if they can make pink look something more than “girlie” and “cute”…

As of the looking, I am passing on that since pink either don’t show up (blushers) on my face or just make my eyes look swollen…When I wore pink back in high school , I got “picked up” by those kids that are a lot younger than I am (I mean those junior high students…) , *shudders*

Hey that sounds like an awesome contest? When is it over? And do we email you the pictures? Post it somewhere?

That sounds like a fun contest. I will definitely do it but it has to wait until a day off from work.

Citrine: I can’t wait to see the entries as well. Pink is one of my fave colors although it’s very difficult to find a pink eyeshadow that shows up on me.
I’m sorry about what happened to you at school. I got picked up too, although not for wearing makeup, and it was awful. Some people can be really cruel and destroy your self-esteem. Teachers should be given more powers to deal with these things :(

Jessica: the contest ends on 25th October and you need to email the pictures to Connie. Click here for more info: http://skindeco.blogspot.com/2008/10/paint-it-pink-contest.html

Alyssa: can’t wait to see your entry! Thanks for taking part in it.

Thanks, Gio for agreeing to be one of the judges! the contest is currently only open to contestants with a Malaysian address but I’m considering a worldwide contest so that our international readers can join. They’d have to be really patient with the shipping though! That’s just my biggest problem actually. That the parcel wouldn’t arrive or take too long to arrive. I definitely can’t afford express shipping :( And even if the winner is willing to pay for shipping, in Malaysia, you can’t withdraw $$ from PayPal so it doesn’t really make a difference.

It’s a pleasure and an honour to be asked Connie, thanks. It would be great if the contest was open worldwide but I understand your fears. I’m always a bit scared parcels will get lost. And express shipping is so expensive!
