Name: Crease Brush #10
Brand: Smashbox
Price: $28

From Smashbox’s website:
This traditional watercolor brush turns any novice into a pro by picking up and blending even the deepest colors lightly. Dip CREASE BRUSH #10 into any shadow and gradually blend pigment over lid until desired definition is achieved.

What I liked:
- very soft
- no shedding
- applies and blends color to the crease perfectly

What I didn’t like:
-isn’t great for working in small areas

I was looking for a crease brush so I thought I’d give this a try. Smashbox crease brush has a wooden handle and squirrel hair. The bristles are dense but very soft and pick up just the right amount of product. I find myself using this very often as it blends color to the crease perfectly and easily. Even dark colors were applied lightly but you can gradually build them up until you get the result you want.  However, while this is a great brush to use in broad areas like the crease, it doesn’t work very well to cover small areas with precision. So far, this brush hasn’t shed at all and is still in perfect condition even after washing.

Summary:
I really like this brush. The bristles are soft, dense and don’t shed. It applies color to the crease perfectly and easily, but it doesn’t work well in small areas.

Rating: 4/5

I really like Smashbox ever since I saw the commercials in QVC. I may get some of their products one day just to play with.

Pencil brushes or round crease brushes are best for working with small areas. I <3 my italian badger round crease brush. hee hee hee

I like Smashbox and I don’t understand why it’s not popular among the blogging world. Most people want MAC or Nars. :/

Dao: I like Smashbox too. To be honest this is the only product I’ve tried so far but I really love and I’m planning to get more stuff soon.

Connie: you’re right, those brushes work great in small areas. I was hoping this would too though. I like brushes that work in several areas.

Anastasia: I know :(

Alyssa: you’re right. I love MAC and Nars but Smashbox is great too. It’s a shame it is underrated in the blogging world.

This looks like it would make a better blending brush rather than a crease brush. I really like the Sonia Kashuk or Avon crease brush better…and they are lower priced!

I love smashbox! I honestly prefer Sephora Brands over MAC just because MAC has horrible customer service lol. But I just got their camera ready foundie and it’s awesome! Goes on like a dream! I can’t imagine spending that much on a brush…actually I could HAHA but I’d probably talk myself into buying something else..

Tammy M: this works well as a crease brush and for blending as well but not in small areas. I’ve heard grat things about Sonia Kashuk brushes, I will have to try them next.

Jessica Dee: I’ve heard so many bad stuff about MAC customer service, it’s a shame, they should do something about it.
The brush is a bit expensive but I don’t mind investing in good brushes that will last for a long time.

I am in LOVE with crease brush, and this looks really really nice. Smashbox brushes are great! I’m using the Smashbox brush collection, the one with clear handle and I am so happy with it
