Name: Elvive Nutri-gloss Shampoo
Brand: L’Oreal
Size: 250ml
Price: 3,40€

From L’Oreal’s website:
To help revive your hair’s brilliance, the L’Oréal Laboratories have developed Elvive Nutri-Gloss Programme, with Pearl Protein. Nutri-Gloss helps nourish to the hair, balanced from root to tip without weighing it down. Your hair feels smoother and the surface of your hair better reflects the light.

What I liked:
- hair looks and feels clean for 2/3 days
- the consistency
- the scent
- the packaging

What I didn’t like:
- doesn’t work as well on it own as it does with the matching conditioner

I must admit that when it comes to L’Oreal shampoos, I’m biased. I have very oil hair that gets greasy very quickly. I have tried loads of shampoos, from Pantene, Sunsilk, Nivea etc and the next day my hair already looks dirty. Instead, when I use L’Oreal shampoos, my hair feels and looks clean for 2/3 days before requiring washing again, and this shampoo is no different. This may not be much for you, but it is for me!

My hair is also very thin and straight and lacks body and shine. This shampoo leaves my hair soft and with a healthy shine, although you get better results using it with the matching conditioner than on its own. I always use a conditioner anyway, as my hair is too difficult to manage otherwise.

The shampoo is pink in colour and the consistency is just right, not too thick and not too runny. You only need a very small amount of product that quickly produces a thick lather that is easy to rinse.

I love the scent, sweet but not overpowering and my hair smells lovely all day.

I also love the packaging, the bottle is a bold shade of pink that is sure to capture your attention.

Summary:
Overall, I like this shampoo. After washing, my hair looks and feels clean for a few days and smells lovely. The shampoo leaves hair soft and shiny, although it works a lot better if you use the matching conditioner.

Rating: 4/5

It’s such a great product isn’t it? I love it! And I really like the conditioner as well, it makes my hair tangle free and so easy to manage! :)
