Name: Dream Mousse Blush
Brand: Maybelline
Size: 7ml
Price: 8,70€

From Maybelline’s website:
- Glides on smoothly and blends easily for seamless color and a natural, radiant finish
- Air-whipped mousse delivers satin-soft feel on skin
- Long-wearing formula will not clog pores

What I liked:
- very blendable, easy application
- natural finish
- the price

What I didn’t like:
- not very long-lasting
- bulky packaging

Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush is available in 3 shades: mauve, soft plum and peach satin. I purchased peach satin, which is a nice shade of pink.

Its mousse-like texture is light, soft, silky and shimmery. The blush doesn’t feel heavy on your skin and gives you a natural glowy finish. Blending is very easy. A little goes a long way but you can add more if you need to. Just apply layer after layer until you’re satisfied with the result.

However, the staying power is not very impressive. It fades pretty quickly, especially if you have very oily skin, and needs retouching. However, it last a bit better if you apply a powder blush or foundation or even some translucent powder on top of it.

The product contains lots of silicones which help prevent caking and also explain the velvety feel. Another main ingredient is jojoba oil, which leaves skin soft and smooth.

I don’t really like the packaging much. It’s heavy and bulky. The glass pot is quite thick and clunky to carry in you bag.

Summary:
Overall, I like this blush. It is very easy to apply and blend, gives you a natural look and it is very cheap. However, the staying power isn’t very good and you will need to retouch frequently.

Rating: 3/5

I don’t know why Maybelline Mousse didn’t really catch my attention, I would use it if it’s for free but I wouldn’t really spend my money on this as we don’t have Sale that are big enough for me to want to spend my money on this! At least I was able to read a review on this as I seldom see reviews on this product! thanks!!! I made the right decision not buying this as I want them long lasting :)

I’ve always been curious to try the Maybelline Mousse range but I was disappointed about the staying power, this is definitely not for you if you’re looking for a long-lasting blush. Although it’s great if you’re in a rush, as it only takes a few seconds to apply

Great review on this product! I’ve only tested it on the back of my hand a few times at the drugstore, but I’ve never bothered with drugstore blush since it usually doesn’t show up…. and I already have more blushes than I’ll ever wear in my lifetime.

PS: no pic of you wearing it?

If you are of a black and of a medium-light complexion I personally recommend you do not waste your money on this product. I bought the Peach Satin color, thinking peach would be a perfect complement to my skintone (I’m probaly about Beyonce’s skin color). However I found the product ashy when applied and did not produce ANY COLOR WHATSOEVER!!

I wish I would have checked its terrible reviews before buying.

I’m sorry this didn’t work for you Asha. Personally, I like this because my skin is very pale and I only need a hint of color, which is exactly what this gives. But if you are black, then you probably need something more pigmented than this.
